Baloch political activist Mr Ehsan Arjumandi arrested

Ehsan Arjumandi Baluch a Norwegian citizen recently went to Baluchistan to visit his friends and family. Sources close to Mr Arjumandi reported his family live in both Karachi and Baluchistan. He was traveling from Mand town in Balochistan to Karachi. The bus he was traveling in, was stopped at Uthal check point (also known as zero point) where ‘according to eyes witnesses’ two cars without number plates were already waiting for him. Four men in plain clothes got on the bus and asked Mr Arjumandi to go with them. “As soon as Ehsan Baluch got off the bus, a black hood was put on his head and driven towards an unknown location”. Said the eye witnesses. It is obvious that he has been abducted by the Pakistani intelligence agencies. Similar cars and officials in plain clothes were involved in all previous abduction of Baloch activists. Mr Baluch’s friend and family reported to have contacted the Norwegian government and sought their help to put pressure on Pakistan for his early and safe release.
